Abeome Corp Gets $350K From Seed Investors

ATHENS, GA -- Biotechnology company Abeome Corporation announced the receipt of $350,000 in venture funding representing the first tranche of an expected $1.2 million seed round.

The company has created technologies using its proprietary hybridoma system to help speed up development of monoclonal antibodies for life science testing.

Investors in the round included Georgia Venture Partners and ATDC Seed Capital Fund.  The funding follows awards from the Georgia Research Alliance for Technology Partnership grants totaling $200K.
